Ron Oesterlein grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago and went to the University of Utah where he earned a BA in German and a BS in International Finance and Political Relations. After graduating he traveled around the world for a year, which led him to his first career and passion - Travel

Ron spent 15 years in a variety of roles within the travel industry. Included in his breadth of experience, Ron has led, managed, and sold exotic photographic safaris around the world, managed a team of travel consultants at the International Monetary Fund and co-owned and managed a travel company. Ron's love of adventure continues to lead him in travels across the world. He is passionate about providing an outlet for individuals to experience new worlds, cultures and perspectives and his travel background provides him with a means for sharing his enthusiasm with others.  Ron believes that travel and adventure allows people to move out of their normal routine and to see things from different perspectives.

Ron is the founder of Oesterlein Coaching and Consulting and managing partner for Center Avenue Partners, LLC, is dedicated to helping individuals navigate the process of realizing their aspirations and goals. Whether the goal is a breakthrough success – professionally and/or personally - Ron guides, supports and focuses clients in on achieving sustainable results.  With over 1600 hours of client coaching, Ron has established a diverse client base, all with the common aim of reaching extraordinary success. A qualified and experienced success coach, Ron has completed the advanced training from The Coaches Training Institute (CTI), and is currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Coaching and recently completed an introduction to Integral Coach training with New Ventures West and an introduction to Integral Institute's Integral Life Practice - IWET (Integral Weekend Experiential Training) . He is a current member of the International Coaches Federation and is the President-Elect for his local chapter in Chicago.

In addition to his coaching practice and the ownership of a rapidly growing real estate development firm, Ron's professional experience includes over 20 years of functional expertise in the areas of adventure travel, travel management, and financial consulting. This diversity along with his passion for adventure, travel, learning, fitness and personal growth enable him to connect with a broad array of clients with varying business and life experiences.
